Xorg-Server throws Exception due starting wxwidget based apps
Oh what a struggling day…
At morning, my intention was to update my current ati driver to an up to date version(8.37.6).
After installing this peace of software… i was wondering myself why some applications wont work at all! For instance filezilla as well as Videolan seems want to bothering me.
Now, i´ve founded the causing problem. The origin belongs to the xserver-xorg-core component as version 1.4.2+ and behind.
After downgrading the particular component, all is fine and works like before updating the ati driver.
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-core=2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8
Oh what a day…
